B. Edward Bryant

- President, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer, Certified Crematory Operator

Born in West Stewartstown, Ed resided in Colebrook before moving to Berlin in 1966 with his family. A graduate of Berlin High School class of 1979, Ed spent a few years away from the funeral service before attending New England Institute in Boston, graduating in 1984 and joining his father, Bert. Ed and Laurie were married in 1991 and raised have two children David and Brianna. When not working, Ed enjoys spending time hunting, snowmobiling, and working with his antique Farmall tractors. He is a member of the Berlin Kiwanis Club, Evening Star Lodge #37 F&AM of Colebrook, Bektash Shrine, New Hampshire Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the NH Funeral Directors Assoc.


Laurie A. Bryant

- Secretary & Bookkeeper, Certified Crematory Operator

Born in Berlin and graduate of Berlin High School class of 1979. Laurie graduated Concord Hospital School of Nursing in Concord the class of 1982. Laurie spent time working in Farmington, ME and Bangor, ME hospitals before returning to Berlin, to work at Androscoggin Valley Hospital, AVH Home Health & Hospice Services, and Coos County Family Health Services.

When not working, Laurie enjoys spending time quilting, knitting, and embroidering. She is a member of the Berlin Material Girls Quilters Guild, serves on the board of directors of Androscoggin Valley Home Care and is a communicant of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.


David E. Bryant

- Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer, Certified Crematory Operator

Born in Berlin and a lifelong resident, David graduated Berlin High School the class of 2011. David joined his parents in 2012, attended FINE Mortuary College in Norwood, MA and graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service in 2016. David lives in Berlin with his dog Maxx.

When not working at the funeral home David serves as Program Liaison for New Hampshire Operation Game Thief, Inc., the state of NH’s wildlife crimestoppers program.

David is a member of Gorham Sabatis Lodge #73 F&AM, New Hampshire Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, 100 Club of NH and formerly served as Director/Secretary for the Androscoggin Valley Fish & Game Assoc.


William “Bill” Maddalena

A United States Navy veteran, Bill served citizens and visitors of Berlin on the Berlin Fire Dept., retiring in December 2016 as a Captain. Bill serves as an instructor for the State of NH Division of Fire Standards and Training at the Concord and Bethlehem facilities. Bill has won national awards for his cooking skills and has appeared several times on national television. Bill enjoys hunting, four-wheeling, cooking, and running his catering company Smoke Showin’ BBQ with his wife Kim.


Robert “Bob” Pelchat

Bob has been part of the Bryant team for over a decade. A United States Air Force veteran, he was born and raised in Berlin where he resides with his wife Louise. Bob worked in the cable and communications field.

Bob is a member of Good Shepherd Parish where he serves as an altar server, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and sits on the board of directors for Coos County Family Health Services, in addition to many other boards and committees throughout the years.


Timothy C. Beaulac

Tim was born and raised in Berlin, he attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences and worked for many years in the area as a pharmacist, retiring in 2015 from Walmart Pharmacy in Gorham where he served as manager. Tim resides in Gorham with his wife MaryLou.

Tim is a member of the Berlin Kiwanis Club and serves on the board of directors for Coos County Family Health Services.


Keith “Lefty” Enman

Lefty retired from the Berlin Police Dept and currently works part time for the Coos County Sheriff’s department. Lefty enjoys hiking the white mountains, hunting and riding his motorcycle.


G. “Barney” Valliere

Barney serves the citizens and visitors of Berlin as a Lieutenant for the Berlin Police Dept. When not working Barney enjoys spending time riding his motorcycle, skiing, camping and traveling the world.
