Beatrice G. Landry

Beatrice G. (Legere) Landry, 88, of Berlin, NH, passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at her home. She was born in Berlin on December 31, 1925 the daughter of Theothim and Marie (Baillargeon) Legere and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed by the City of Berlin in the Finance Department and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Beatrice enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing cards with her friends and was an avid reader. She also loved watching old movies and going to the casino. Family includes her children David Landry of West Milan, NH, Paulette Lambert and husband Michael of Penacook, NH, Gerard Landry and wife Beatriz of the Philipine Islands and Joanne Landry of Scottsdale, AZ; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister Jeannette Demers of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Landry and brothers Arthur Legere, Paul Legere, Hubert Legere, Maurice Legere and sister Juliette Merrill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
