Florette Dubuc, 82, of First Ave., passed away at her home on Jan. 14, 2014 with family by her side, following a long illness. Mrs. Dubuc was born in Berlin on July 10, 1931, a daughter of Thomas and Exilda (Cote) Salvas and was a lifelong resident. For a time, she worked for the Brown Co. in the Towel Room and also as a receptionist for Dr. Kay. She was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Family members include a daughter Diane Lozier and husband Steve of Berlin; a son David Dubuc of Berlin; a grandson Christopher Lozier of Deerfield, NH; two sisters, Laurette Merril of CA and Cecile Bourque of Berlin; a brother Robert Salvas of Berlin; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband William Dubuc, a son Donald Dubuc, several brothers and sisters. Calling hours are private. A funeral service for Florette and William will be held on Friday January 17, 2014 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
