Lucille Juliette Lessard passed away on Thursday, September 01, 2016 at Coos County Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was 81

Born in Berlin, NH on August 22, 1935 she was the daughter of Wilfred and Bertha (Bisson) Lessard.

Lucille was a very hard worker and was employed in the Laundry Department at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing home for many years.

Her greatest love was her family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She most enjoyed the time she spent playing games with her grandchildren. Lucille took great pride in her home and was meticulous with how she maintained it. She was an avid Roller skater and was very competitive. She also enjoyed motorcycle riding

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her brothers Aime, Robert, Jiggs, Norman and Edward Lessard, her sister Jeannette Lemire.

She leaves behind her two sons; Paul Long and wife Carolyn of Bellow Falls, VT, Donald Long and wife Susan of Port Richie, FL; two daughters Cynthia Knight and husband Cliff of Norway, ME and Louise Knight and husband Robert of South Paris, ME.; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters Pauline Lemire of Saco, ME and Olive Caron of Berlin, NH; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours, we will meet directly at Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at St. Kierans Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
