Mary E. Lodar

Mary E. Lodar, 72, of Gorham, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on March 14, 1947 the daughter of the late Edwin B. and Dorothy E. (Donaldson) Forsythe and was a lifelong resident of Gorham, graduating from Gorham High School in 1965. She had been employed for 31 years at Gorham Sand and Gravel and was a member of Holy Family Church.



Family includes her brothers Edwin Forsythe, Jr. and his wife Vicki of North Conway, NH and Wayne Forsythe and his wife Ursula of Milan, NH; stepsons Kenneth Lodar of Hilton, NY and Ronnie Lodar of Rochester, NY; grandson Adam Lodar; nieces Katherine, Rebecca and Jennifer and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Lodar in 2005.



The family wishes to thank Steve Lebeau, who played a big part in the care during her illness.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow in the Lary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be to Supporting A Survivor’s Journey, c/o Good Shepherd Parish, 151 Emery Street, Berlin. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham is in charge of the arrangements.
