Alice B. Roy

Alice B. (Legere) Roy, 91, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday February 4, 2024 at the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on July 27, 1932 the daughter of Armand X. and Josephine (Lacroix) Legere and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1951 and was a member of Holy Family Church. 

Family includes her children Peter D. Roy and wife Faye of Limington, ME and Susan I. Martin and husband Mark of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Jenn Black and husband Josh of Porter, ME, Paul Roy of Bridgton, ME, and Steven Martin and his partner Brittany Freeman of Raleigh, NC; three great-grandchildren; sister Priscilla Vernon of Rochester, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Henry A. Roy, son Michael H. Roy and his wife Connie, siblings Alfred Legere, Irene Couture and Maria Bergeron.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 10 AM at the Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM.
