Alta B. Holt

Alta B. Holt, 90, of Dummer, NH passed away on Sunday April 7, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Washburn, Maine on March 23, 1923 the daughter of Herbert and Della (Campbell) Campbell. Alta grew up in Millinocket, ME and came to this area in the 1940s. She was a member of the Dummer Community Church, the Dummer Womans Society and the Emily Flint Rebekah Lodge. Members of the family include her daughter Sherry Main of Dummer; sons Wayne Holt of Dummer, Carl Holt of Milan and Brian Holt of Dummer; 12 grandchildren Nona, Wayne, Robert, Norman, Deeanna, Brian, Mark, Julie, Joseph, Kreg, Mindy and Shelly; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother Basil Campbell of Millinocket, ME; sisters Glenna Burrell of Millinocket, ME, Phyllis Bither of Millinocket, ME and Donna Malone of Mllinocket, ME; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Holt, a son Gary Holt and a brother Earlan Campbell. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 11 AM at the Dummer Community Church, Hill Rd, Dummer, NH. Interment will be in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin is in charge of the arrangements.
