Anita P (Labrecque) Villeneuve

Anita Pauline (LaBrecque) Villeneuve passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital.

Born on June 17, 1944 in, Jay Maine, she was the daughter of Paul and Adele (Legere) LaBrecque. She graduated from Notre Dame High School then attended Empire Beauty School in Portland, Maine. She was a communicant of Guardian Angel, now Good Shepherd Parish. She was a member of the Marie Rivier Association. She did volunteer work at the St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.

Anita married Richard Villeneuve on September 21, 1968, and together they raised four children. She was the co-owner of Designers Touch Hair Salon.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family. She never missed a family event and was always looking forward to the next gathering. She had a generous soul and was always willing to help others in need. She was very much loved and will be missed forever and a day.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Villeneuve of Berlin; two daughters: Susan Howard and husband Ron of Sutton, MA; Debra Demers and companion John Vashaw of Gorham, NH; two sons: Derek Villeneuve and wife Brandy of Milford, NH; and Daren Villeneuve and wife Colleen of Wheat Ridge, CO; grandchildren: Max Howard, Jessi Demers, Alex Couch, Ethan Villeneuve, Hope Villeneuve, Miriam Villeneuve, and Adele Villeneuve; siblings: Dianne Arenburg, Dan LaBrecque, Pam Legendre, Conrad LaBrecque, Gail Doherty, Paul LaBrecque, Raymond LaBrecque, Andy LaBrecque, and Corinne King; several nieces and nephews.

Callings hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 8:30am-9:30am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin. Interment will follow at St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin.
