Ann L. Finogle

August 4, 1944 — November 1, 2024

Wolfeboro

Ann Louise Finogle, 80, of Wolfeboro and formerly of Berlin, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Wolfeboro Bay Center. Ann was born on August 4, 1944, the daughter of the late Leandre J. and Cecile (Rousseau) Cote and lived most of her life in Berlin.

Ann dedicated much of her energy in service to others. Family was her focal point, and she derived her greatest joys from spending time with her immediate and extended family members. Her home on Norway Street was a gathering spot for multiple generations of relatives and friends, especially on Christmas Eve. Her French-Canadian recipes were legendary, and the love she put into everything she did for her family was bottomless.

Ann’s service to her extended community began when she graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, and she brought her skilled care and compassion to other roles over the years, which included running a daycare in her home, managing the Berlin branch of Keene Medical Products, and serving as a child advocate for Child and Family Services of New Hampshire, now called Waypoint.

She is survived by her two children: Michael Finogle and wife Lorie of Tilton, NH and Karen (Finogle) Ingraham and husband Peter of Exeter and Concord, NH; grandchildren: Gavin Finogle, Mabel Ingraham, Gus Ingraham; a brother Mike Cote and wife Jean of Texas; a sister Linda Jensen and husband Dennis of Gorham, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Finogle in 1987.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday November 16, 2024 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment in the St. Kieran Cemetery will be private. The family invites relatives and close friends to join them for a late luncheon from 2 p.m. to 4 pm. at 36 Evans Street in Gorham, NH. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
