Arthur E. "Chip" Goodwin, Jr.

Arthur E. “Chip” Goodwin, Jr., 72, of North Conway, NH, passed away on August 11, 2023 at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Londonderry, NH on September 28, 1950 the son of late Arthur E. Goodwin, Sr. and Norma Goodwin and was raised in the Londonderry-Derry area and attended school there. Arthur had worked for Cianbro Construction for many years. He had also worked for Coulombe Real Estate for over 25 years and had also worked the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved the outdoors, fishing and family camping trips.

Family includes his wife Carol (Aronofsky) Goodwin of North Conway, NH; his children Andy Goodwin, Tia Lloyd of Portsmouth, NH and Doug Goodwin of Conway, NH; step-children Lynn Hunt of MT, Kristen Rice of FL, Heidi Richard and husband Gary of Berlin, NH, Holly Dodge of AL and Toma Lanza of Nashua, NH; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Nancy Geiser of Londonderry, NH and Carol Meserve of Clearwater, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday August 18 from 2 to 4 PM. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society in honor of his great granddaughter, Jolene Stevens.
