Beverly A. Moffett

Miss Beverly A. Moffett, 87, of Berlin, NH, passed away on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born in Groveton, NH on September 29, 1922 the daughter of Irving J. and Josephine (Hayes) Moffett and lived most of her life in Berlin. She graduated from Plymouth State Teachers College and was a school teacher in Berlin and was the principal of Brown School. Bev was an avid golfer, bowler and bridge player and enjoyed these activities into her eighties. She had been club champion at the Androscoggin Valley Country Club. Members of the family include her brother Donald Moffett and his wife Marguerite of Penacook, NH; nieces Marilyn Moffett and Beata Slyvan; nephews Michael Moffett, James Moffett and John Muldoon. She was predeceased by her sisters Madelyn Laroche and Evelyn Wagner, a niece, Heidi Wagner and a nephew, John Moffett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 24, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
