Manchester, NH

Bradley E. Holt, 64, of Manchester, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of failing health.  He was born on November 27, 1959 in Linden, NJ the son of Edward and Martha Holt.  A graduate of Berlin High School and the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Secretarial Science (now Southern New Hampshire University) with a degree in accounting.  Brad resided in Manchester for many years, working for several local businesses including the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the local smoke shop.  He prepared peoples taxes for several years and served on the Board of Granite State Independent Living Foundation and the NH Food CO-OP.  He was a strong advocate for people with disabilities and handicap accessibility, and was not bashful about sharing his opinion.  Brad loved all New England Sports teams, music - especially the Rolling Stones, and "discussing" politics.  Brad had a lifelong love of cooking, inspired by his time in the Bachelors of Living class in high school.  He cherished his time spent at The Hunting Camp in Stratford Hollow with his family and friends.  

Brad is survived by his mother Martha Holt of Milan; his siblings: Lynne (Brice) Bacon, MaryBeth (Wallace) Pimental, Heather Dunkerley and Holly (Mark) Crockett; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews: Patrick (God son), Derek, Katelyn, Lauren, Stephanie, Brinna, Ryan, Aaron and Zachary; great nieces, great nephews and many cousins.  He was predeceased by his father Edward Holt, his grandparents and several other relatives.

Bradley was extremely appreciative and fond of his long term caregivers including Pat, Clayton, Amber, Bonnie and Shay.  Brad's family is forever grateful for the loving care so many have shown him over the years as well as the staff at CMC.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11am at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin.  Interment will take place in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan in the spring.  Donations in his memory may be made to Sunset Hill Education Institute, PO 435, South Sutton, NH 03273 or Christopher & Dana Reeves Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
