Carrie E. Holt

Mrs. Carrie E. (Angevine) Holt, 81, of 44 Horne Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday Dec. 2, 2010 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born in Upton, ME on Nov. 14, 1929 the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Lombard) Angevine. She was a graduate of Gould Academy with the class of 1947. Carrie traveled extensively while working for Western Union, where her work brought her to Berlin and she has since resided in Berlin. She enjoyed her family and spending time with them. Members of the family include her husband of 60 years Carleton E. Holt of Berlin, NH; three children David Holt and his wife Ellen of Gorham, NH, Keith Holt and his wife Sharon of Denmark, ME and Karen Taylor and her husband Richard of Berlin, NH; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers Avery Angevine and Ernest Angevine, both of Bethel, ME and John Angevine of Colebrook, NH; a sister Mary Agnes Deblois of Shelburne, NH; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by a son Bruce Holt in 1993 and by several brothers and sisters. SERVICES: A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday afternoon Dec. 5, 2010 at 3 PM in the chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday Dec. 5 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
