Cathy A. Woodbury

Cathy Ann Woodbury, 56, of Berlin, passed away at her home on Monday, March 11, 2024 after a sudden illness. Cathy was born in Berlin, NH on April 10, 1967 to the late Robert and Florence (Aubin) Woodbury. She graduated from Berlin High School with the Class of 1987 and for many years was employed at the Northland Restaurant and Dairy Bar. Cathy loved watching movies and over the years was very active with Special Olympics and the Androscoggin Valley River Athletes, having recently obtained a silver medal in bowling. She also was actively involved in snow shoeing and golf, and had the opportunity to travel to Alaska and Nebraska to compete in those events at the national level. Cathy was an active member and avid volunteer at the Berlin Salvation Army and was dearly loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her twin sister Carol Hunt of Berlin; nephews Michael Roy and James Roy, both of Berlin; several great-nieces, great-nephews and many close friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law Frank Hunt.

A Celebration of Cathy's Life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1pm at the Berlin Salvation Army, 15 Cole Street. The Bryant Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
