Claire B. McKay, 85, of Saco, passed away late Tuesday morning on August 26, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on February 25, 1929, a daughter of Osylva and Maria (Fisette) Bergeron. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Berlin, New Hampshire, class of 1947.
Claire was employed by Southern New England Telephone in New Britain, Connecticut, for 20 years.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed line dancing.
Mrs. McKay was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald McKay on April 24, 1991 and by one son Donald "Frank" McKay in June of 2007.
She is survived by two sons - Jeremy McKay and his wife Lydia of San Diego, California
Gregory McKay and his wife Tracy of Ellington, Connecticut
One daughter - Michele Adams and her husband Kevin of Saco, Maine.
Six grandchildren - Jeremy, Kelly, Donald, Theresa, Megan & Travis
Eight great grandchildren
One brother - Norman Bergeron of Berlin, New Hampshire and Several nieces and nephews
A chapel service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1:00pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will follow at St Kieran Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
