Claudette P. Lavigne

Claudette Pauline Lavigne of Gorham, NH, has died at the age of 81. She passed away peacefully surrounded by much love after a courageous battle with cancer. Claudette was born on April 2, 1943, in Berlin, NH to Carmen and Leo Dupuis. She was a graduate of Gorham High School, in Gorham, NH, and Becker Junior College in Worcester, MA. Claudette was a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, aside from her time at Becker Junior College and working in Boston, MA, and then New York, NY in her early twenties.

Claudette was a devoted wife to her husband, Roland, and mother to her three sons, Kevin, Matthew, and Douglas. She enjoyed traveling to Marco Island, FL, with Roland, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Claudette is survived by her husband, Roland Lavigne; brother Dennis Dupuis and his wife, Debbie, of Boulder, CO; son Kevin Lavigne and his wife Kristen and their children Grant, Julia, and Kyle of Bedford, NH; son Matthew Lavigne and his fiancée Michelle Macropol and their daughter Ainsley of Bedford, NH; son Douglas Lavigne and his wife Amanda and their son Nolan of Candia, NH; and nephews Eric Dupuis and Matthew Dupuis, both of Boulder, CO. She was predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Leo Dupuis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10am at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 7 Church Street, Gorham, NH with interment following in Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
