Darrell J. Sgrulloni

Darrell J. Sgrulloni, 78, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Saturday August 24, 2024 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on March 31, 1946 the son of the late Daniel P. and Rita H. (Thompson) Sgrulloni and was a lifelong resident of the area. He had been a truck driver for Gorham Sand & Gravel for many years and later owned and operated D & S Trucking. Before his retirement, he had worked for Kelley Trucking. Darrell like playing cribbage, fishing and playing pool. In the winter time, he could often be found snow plowing for many residents and businesses in Gorham and could often be found visiting friends at the Gorham American Legion. 

 Family includes his daughter Rita Alimandi and husband Nathan of Gorham, NH; daughter-in-law Candy Malinowski and husband Jason of PA; step daughter-in-law Betty Pinella of NJ; step-daughter Kim Labnon and husband Randy of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Miranda Tibbets and husband Brandon, Ashley Premo and significant other Russ, Kameron Premo and significant other Brittany, Ethan Sgrulloni and Emily Sgrulloni; step grandchildren Casey Carder, Carrie Laflamme, Courtney Banzhoff and husband David, Christopher Laflamme, Shirley Weaver and husband Mike and Joseph Pinella, Jr.; several great grandchildren including Aden, Carter, Natalia, Konnor, Kristopher and Gianna; sister Heidi Legendre and husband Ken of Gorham, NH; sister-in-law Geraldine Corley of NJ; several nieces and nephews including Katie Taggett, her husband Andrew and their daughter Madisyn of Gorham, NH and a close friends Joe Cartisano and wife Lisa of Milan, NH and Harold Sweeney of Gorham. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley, son Darren Sgrulloni, step-son Joseph Pinella and nephew Danny Legendre. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday September 7, 2024 at 10 AM at the Holy Family Cemetery, Church St., Gorham, NH. There will be no calling hours. The family invites friends and family to attend a Celebration of Darrell’s life following the graveside interment at the Gorham American Legion, Androscoggin St., Gorham beginning at 11 AM.
