David A. Prosper

David A. Prosper, 62, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday October 26, 2024 at his home. He was born in Stewartstown, NH on October 4, 1962 the son of the late E. Walter and Rose Y. (Benoit) Prosper and was raised in the Colebrook area. He was a US Army Veteran. When he left the service, he worked as a truck driver for several companies, including L. J. Kennedy and Eastern Freightways. Lived in Maine for several years, before moving to Berlin. Liked camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, watching wrestling and football. 

He is survived by his wife Doris “Dee” E. (Towle) Prosper of Berlin; step-children: Vicki Robinson of Gorham, ME and Wayne F. Morris of Berlin; grandchildren: Crystal, Brittany, Ariel, Emile, Carrigan, Aireanna; his siblings: George Prosper and his wife Vinny, Pat Prosper and his wife Becky, Bruce Prosper and his wife Claire, Norman Prosper, Richard Prosper and partner Cindy, Agnes Edney and husband Maynard, Marie Bullard and husband Dick, Nita Prosper, Christine Prosper; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Hope. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law Cathy Prosper and a nephew BJ Prosper.

Military Honors will be rendered at graveside on Thursday October 31, 2024 at 2pm at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM with prayers at 6:30pm.
