Debra Ann Murray

Debra Ann Murray of Brookside Drive passed away early Friday Morning (March 4, 2011) at her home in the peaceful surroundings of her family. She was 54.

Born on July 29, 1956 in Ledyard, CT, she was the daughter of Alfred and Janet Scanlon.

Debra grew up in Ledyard, CT and was a graduate of Ledyard High School.

On Sept 23, 1989, she married Patrick Murray and they moved to Gorham in 2000 from Orlando, FL.

She was employed in food service at AVH Hospital in Berlin, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Dunkin Donuts in Gorham.

Debra dedicated her time to the Special Olympics and was known for helping other people.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Patrick A. Murray of Gorham, NH

A son Michael Murray and his fiancAC.e Ava of North Carolina

A daughter Jennifer Murray and her fiancAC. Phil Juliet of Gorham

Grandchildren: Michael, Joey, Devin, Alex, and Daunte.

A brother Timothy Scanlon of Troutman, NC,

and a niece and a nephew.

A Simultaneous Candle Lighting observance will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. The family asks that you light a candle at 8:00 PM where ever you are at the time to celebrate her life.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the family to defray expenses related to her illness.
