Dennis B. Bachand

Dennis B. Bachand, 71, of Dummer, passed away on Friday May 3, 2024 at his home. He was born in Worcester, MA on October 2, 1952 the son of Bernard J. and Claire R. (Plasse) Bachand where he was raised. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War where he served on the USS Hancock and was a Gunner Mate. He was a Life Member and former Commander of the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW. Dennis has resided in Dummer for over 40 years. He had been employed as a Nuclear Inspector at several different places and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, his motorcycle, his family and his home. He had been the President of the Millsfield Sportman’s Club.

 Family includes his wife Deborah (Gallup) Bachand of Dummer, NH; children Michele Sanschagrin and husband Patrick of Gorham, NH, and Danielle Bachand and significant other, Michael Berry, of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Vanessa, Damian, and Tristen; brothers Rene Bachand of MI and Alan Bachand of VT and half-brother Raymond Bachand of MA. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Marie Bachand.
