Dennis R. Thomas

Dennis R. Thomas, 65, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday January 23, 2020 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Berlin on April 5, 1954 the son of the late Harold A. and Claire I (Hood) Thomas, Sr. and was a lifelong resident. He attended Berlin schools and had been employed by the local papermill as a millwright for 32 years and later was a dump truck driver for Piper Construction. Dennis was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Millsfield Club and enjoyed camping at Log Haven for many years, hunting, fishing, his grandchildren and ice fishing at his bob house at Pontook.



Family includes his daughter Amanda (Thomas) Reed of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Justin and Joey; sister Sherry Fontaine and husband Leo of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Harold “Bubsy” Thomas, Jr.



Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 4 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4, prior to the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
