Diane M. Horne

Diane M. Horne, 62, of Berlin, passed away on Monday January 9, 2017 at her home after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Berlin on April 26, 1954 the daughter of John and Jeannette (Couture) Croteau and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1973 and had been employed as a cook for the Berlin School System for many years. Diane enjoyed her grandchildren, being at camp, boating, fishing, bird hunting and being with family and friends. Family includes her husband Michael P. Horne of Berlin, NH; sons Colby Horne and companion Stephenie Bean of Webster, NH and Anthony Horne and wife Kelly of Berlin, NH: grandchildren Ariana, Annika, Acadia, Leilah, Mason and Harmony; mother Jeannette (Couture) King of Berlin, NH; sister Brenda Grenier and husband Paul of Berlin, NH; brother Kevin Croteau and wife Susan of Greenville, SC; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father John Croteau and a sister Maureen Theriault. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery.
