Dora (Albert) Gagnon

Dora Gagnon Gagne (Albert) of Berlin passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. Vincend de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 97 years old.

Born in Berlin on June 16, 1920 she was the daughter of Adelard and Zelie (Duguay) Albert.

Dora was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. She worked as a stitcher for Converse Rubber Company.

Her greatest love was her family. She loved spending time surrounded by people. She had a kind heart and was always trying to help others. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Lucien Gagne who passed away in 1971, her second husband Albert Gagnon who passed away in 1984; a son Nelson Gagne who passed away in 1987; her brothers Alex, Arthur, Horace, and Edmond and a sister Leola Dubois.

She leaves behind her son Edgar Gagne and wife Eileen of Danielson, CT; step sons Rene and Roger Gagnon and step daughter Lucille Valerino; a grandson Edward Gagne; two grandchildren Gwen Coy and Aliva Gagne; a sister Grace (Yvette) Chevalier; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
