Doris E. Lacombe

Mrs. Doris E. LaCombe, 90, formerly of 209 Church Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2007 at the St. Vincent de Paul Heath Care Center in Berlin, NH, where she had resided for the past 2 years. She was born in Gorham, NH on August 24, 1916 the daughter of Henry H. and Margaret O. (OHearn) Howland and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. She graduated from Berlin High School with the Class of 1935. She had been employed by J.C. Penney for many years and had volunteered for many years at St. Vincent de Paul Health Care Center. She leaves her good friends Antoinette and Robert Thomas of Littleton, NH and their family and her godchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph J. Duquette and her second husband Antonio J. LaCombe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael School, 140 Blanchard Street, Berlin, NH, 03570.
