Dorothy A. Jensen, 96, of Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by family. Dorothy was born in Berlin on January 30, 1928 the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Rabidas) Amero and was a lifelong resident. Over the years, she worked for numerous local businesses including Paul's Laundry, Converse-Granite State, and per diem for Smith and Town Printers.

Dorothy loved playing cards, listening to country music, visiting and being with her family. She was talented at crocheting, making a lot of doilys and table cloths. She enjoyed taking day trips, riding around the area with relatives and friends and could often be found giving rides to her friends, including to BINGO. She was always there to help her family members who needed it, even having some live with her for brief periods of time. She cherished her role as a grandmother, and enjoyed babysitting the grandchildren when they were little, and spending time with them as they grew older.

She is survived by her children: Linda Allbee and husband Donald and Don Jensen and wife Denise, all of Berlin; her grandchildren: Shawn Allbee and wife Leah of Metuchen, NJ, Sarah Allbee of Berlin, Stephen Allbee and wife Marie of Berlin, Lisa Bowe and husband Luke of Anchorage, AK, Rebecca Jensen of Scarborough, ME and Amy Kenadek and husband Joseph of Worcester, MA; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Leo G. Jensen, a grandson Scott Allbee, and her siblings: Raymond Amero, Richard Amero, Bill Amero, Donald Amero, Shirley Aikens, Pauline Washburn.

Dorothy will be interred privately at New City Cemetery, beside her husband. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency, 536 Cottage St., Littleton, NH 03561.
