Durward Lorenzo Jewett

Durward Lorenzo Jewett, 95, of Dummer, passed away on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at his home. He was born in Milan on October 4, 1923 the son of Harold and Mildred (Weaver) Jewett and lived most of his life in Dummer. He was a self-employed farmer and logger and had also worked as a truck driver for Robert Wheeler Logging. Durward enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Family includes his children Audrey Chadwick of Monroe, NC, Durward Lee Jewett of Dummer, NH and Dennis E. Jewett of Dummer, NH; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Rachel (Holt) Jewett, a daughter Evelyn McManus and a brother Ellsworth Blake. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 13, 2019 at 2 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1 -2 PM, prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer.
