Edward Frederick Fauteux of Pinecrest Avenue passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Coos County Nursing Home where he resided for the past six months. Edward was 77 years old.
Born in Berlin on November 1, 1938 he was the son of Philip and Doris (Gleason) Fauteux. He graduated from St Patricks High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Army after being drafted in 1957.
On July 31, 1965 he married Helen Valliere and together they raised three children.
Edward retired from Crown Vantage at the age of 59 where he worked as a pipe coverer.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and attending all different sporting events. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
He is predeceased by his parents.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Helen (Valliere) Fauteux, a daughter Karen Schooner and fianc Danny Willett of Manchester, NH; two sons Randy Fauteux and wife Tammy of Dummer, NH and son Jamie Fauteux of Hebron, CT; Four grandchildren Cody and Cory Fauteux and Kristopher and Michelle Schooner; a sister Patricia Tremblay and fianc Rene Barrette; his golfing companions Dicky Arsenault, Dodo Lacroix and Duke Duchesne. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin, NH.
There will be no calling hours.
