Evelyn A. Guay

Evelyn Alma Guay passed away on Monday July 25, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on August 30, 1935 in Berlin, New Hampshire. On October 20, 1956 she married the love of her life, Joseph Leo Guay. They were happily married for 49 years.

Evelyn excelled as a mother, grandmother, and business woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, sports; especially watching her grandchildren participate, and the Miami Heat. She loved caring for her dog, Angel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Guay; daughter Diane Clodfelter and her husband Steve; as well as her brother Richard McNeil; sister Annette Perry; and parents Blanche and Napolean McNeil. She is survived by her son Paul (Heidi); four grandchildren Mandy Cline (Heath), Chris Clodfelter, Hayley Guay, and William Guay; great-grandchild Bella Clodfelter; brother Henri McNeil; and lifelong friends Cal and Ann LeBuffe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 11:30AM-12:30PM at the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Committal prayers will follow at 1:00PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
