Evelyn A. Hickey

Evelyn Ann Hickey, 85, of Berlin, passed away Saturday evening April 1, 2017, at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Milan on August 29, 1931 the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Mitchell) Hickey and was a lifelong resident of the Milan Berlin area. Her employment included Converse Rubber Co., Bass Shoe, American Skate and Rochester Shoe Tree. She was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and enjoyed knitting, doing crafts and watching golf. Family members include her son Stephen Hickey of Warwick, RI; sister Gloria Sloane of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Francis Buddy Hickey and 3 sisters Lorraine Couture, Leota Garron and Caroline Brassard. A graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
