Evelyn M King

Evelyn M. King, a longtime resident of Gorham and a current resident of Holton Point, Lancaster passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Community Care Hospice in Merrimack, NH. She was 93.

Born on July 23, 1922 in Doucetteville, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of Willard and Bertha Doucette.

Evelyn enjoyed cooking, playing solitaire, doing puzzles, watching sports on TV and loved flowers and plants.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by three brothers Alfred, Melvin, and Freddie Doucette and a sister Margaret Burr.

She leaves a daughter Susan Johnson and her husband Sonny of Manchester, NH and a son Edward King and his wife Lisa of Allenstown, NH; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Ted Burr; a sister-in-law Georgett Doucette and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Kierans Cemetery in Berlin. There are no calling hours.
