Florence (Anderson) Dooan

Florence (Anderson) Dooan, 90, of Gorham, NH passed away on Thursday January 3, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on February 9, 1922 the daughter of Ivar B. and Carolina (Ronholm) Anderson and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. She graduated from Berlin High in 1940 and was a member of Holy Family Church. Members of the family include her daughters Beverly Dupont and husband David of Berlin, NH and Kathleen Briggs and husband Ronald of Chatham, NH; sons Anthony A. Dooan of Park City, UT, William Dooan and wife Donna of Pelham, NH and Kevin Dooan of Houston, TX; grandchildren Christopher Dupont and Sullivan Briggs; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Dooan in 2005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 7, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the Lary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
