Francis Frank Phair

Berlin, NH

Francis "Frank" James Phair of Berlin passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was 95 years old.

Born in Berlin on September 15, 1921 he was the son of James and Grace (Perkins) Phair.

Frank attended Berlin Schools and was a graduate of Berlin High School, class of 1941. After High School Frank served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Berlin VFW and the Gorham American Legion.

In 1985 he retired from Brown Company where he was employed in the Instrumentation Department. He was also employed as a Chef at the Mount Washington Hotel, The Pot Luck Restaurant, Georges Diner and Brenkins Restaurant in Palm Beach FL. His specialties were Clam Chowder and Bread Pudding.

Frank was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing and going to camp. He also enjoyed dancing, going to yard sales and skiing. Most of all he enjoyed his family and spending time with them.

He is predeceased by his wife Pauline who passed away in 2011, two brothers, two sisters and a step-daughter.

Frank leaves behind three sons, Michael Phair and wife Gina, Harold Phair and wife Nancy and James Phair; one daughter Gloria Masters; three step-sons, Ronald Lozeau, Ernest Lozeau and companion Gisele and Roger Lozeau and wife Charlotte; two step-daughters Lorraine Gagnon and husband Roland and Mary-Ann Lozeau; a sister Maxine Patch and husband David; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 5:00pm til 7:00pm and on Saturday prior to the service from 9:00 til 10:00 at Fleury-Patry, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
