Francis R. "Frank" Kenney

The family of Francis R. “Frank” Kenney, 89, of Milan, is saddened to announce his passing on January 1, 2025 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin after a period of failing health. Frank was born on January 14, 1935 in Salem, MA, the son of the late Arthur R. and Lillian E. (Landry) Kenney and resided in Swampscott, MA where he raised his family. Frank was a cook at Maddie’s Sail Loft in Marblehead, MA for many years before moving to Milan more than 25 years ago. Frank spent much of his time at the family camp on Cedar Pond where enjoyed hunting, fishing, ATVing, snowmobiling, boating and watching westerns.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Jean Mailloux of Milan; his four children: Sherry Ciaramella and husband Tony of Malden, MA, Francine Braid and husband Jimmy of Salem, MA, Cindy Lopresti and husband John of Naples, FL, and Tracy Kenney and partner Tom Capozzi of Lynn, MA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Richard Kenney and James Kenney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family in the Milan area. He was predeceased by his siblings Sharon, Robert and Barbara.
