G. Gordon Steady

G. Gordon Steady, 80, of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Berlin on December 22, 1937 the son of the late George and Dorothy (Tremblay) Steady and was a lifelong resident. He was a US Army Veteran where he served with the 101st Airborne and had been employed as a truck driver with several companies, including Currier Trucking for 19 years. Gordon enjoyed his family, his camp and was an avid gun collector. He also read and studied books on home building and built 3 homes. Family includes his wife of 47 years Claire (Martin) Steady of Berlin, NH; daughter Michele Conners and husband Jim of Bristol, NH; sons Kevin Steady and wife Erica of Gorham, NH, Keith Steady of Berlin, NH and Silance Steady and wife Angie of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Heidi, Ryan, Brandon, Kelli, Ean, Sydney and Dawson; 8 great grandchildren; brother Bobby Blanchard and wife Irene of Oregon; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Frances and brothers Armand and Guy. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 5, 2018 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon to 1 PM, prior to the service.
