Geneva Legendre

Geneva (McKenna) Legendre, 93, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Cascade-Gorham, NH on March 18, 1921 the daughter of Alfred E. and Lena (Coulombe) McKenna and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed by McCreadys Dairy and Converse Rubber Company and was a member of Holy Family Church. Family includes her son Rodney Legendre and wife Pamela of Randolph, NH and Venice, FL; grandsons Scott Legendre of Gorham, NH and Dana Legendre of Berlin, NH; 3 great-grandchildren Jeremy Legendre, Daniel Legendre and Kaylea McLeod; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice J. Legendre and siblings Alfred Babe McKenna, Michael Mac McKenna, Marshall Bucky McKenna, Agatha Gaddy Martin, Vivian Mainguy and Sherman McKenna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church on Friday May 29, 2015 at 10 AM.Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade ST., Gorham on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
