George M. Coulombe

George M. Coulombe, 85, of Berlin, passed away on Friday December 27, 2024 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Berlin on January 9, 1939 the son of the late Albert and Olive (Roy) Coulombe and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1958 and loved baseball and softball, where he was the pitcher. He also loved the Bruins and the Celtics. George had been employed by McCready’s Dairy prior to being employed by the City of Berlin Public Works Department where he worked for 34 years, retiring as the sewer foreman.

 Family includes his wife of 60 years Pauline M. (Caouette) Coulombe of Berlin, NH; his children Lori L. Dodge and husband Michael of Chagrin Falls, OH and Keith N. Coulombe and wife Lori of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Ashley, Emily and Kyle; his siblings Russell Coulombe and wife Gertrude of FL, Gloria Maxfield of FL and Mark Coulombe of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son David Coulombe and brothers Paul Coulombe and Edward Coulombe.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 2, 2025 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. There will be no calling hours. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
