Gertrude Lacasse

Mrs. Gertrude Lacasse, 83, of North Berwick, ME passed away on Thursday January 13, 2011 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She was born in Berlin, NH on November 11, 1927 the daughter of Albert and Rita (Hamel) Guimond. She was raised in Berlin and had been employed in the towel room at Brown Company. She later resided for a time in Portsmouth, NH and has lived in North Berwick, ME for many years. Members of the family include her husband Armand Lacasse of North Berwick, ME; a brother Donald Guimond of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Leo in 1996 and by siblings Robert, Leo, Lionel and Jeannette. SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 17, 2011 at 9:30 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
