Henry "Ti-Boy" Arsenault passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was 92 years old.
Born in Berlin on April 29, 1925 he was the son of John and Marie Louise (Cote) Arsenault.
In addition to his trucking career with Yellow Freight, Leveille Trucking and Isaacson Structural Steel,Henry was the owner and operator of Henrys Submarine Shop .
On October 15, 1949 he married his loving wife of almost 68 years Pierina (Basile). Together they raised a loving family.
Henry, well known by many, lived life to the fullest. He could be found at the Notre Dame Arena, watching his son play hockey. Henry was also a hockey referee for many years. He was a dedicated spectator at his children and grandchildrens sporting events. He was always their most supportive and loving fan. Motor cycling, easily clocking 1,000 miles per week in the summer and skiing the slopes of Wildcat and Sunday River was his pleasure five days a week during the winter season. He could throw a horseshoe with the best of them. Early morning was his time to exercise at the Bodyline. Henry enjoyed bowling and was very involved in various Special Olympic events with his great-grandson, Alex. His relaxation included time with family and friends, watching the Patriots and the Montreal Canadiens, and snacking on his favorite sweet treat.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Rose Skaradosky, Jeanne Paulin, Lena Hansen and son-in-law Raymond Nolin.
He leaves behind his loving wife Pierina Arsenault of Berlin; sons John Arsenault and wife Linda of Berlin, Paul Arsenault and wife Kay of Arkansa; daughters Ann Nolin of Berlin and Rosie Arsenault of Berlin; grandchildren Paula Poirier and husband Rollie of Berlin, Bethany Arsenault and wife Joanne of Maine, Andrea Arsenault of Massachusetts, Arielle Arsenault-Benoit and husband Pat of Maryland and Danny Arsenault and companion Paige MacLure of Dover; great-grandsons Alex Poirier and Olen Arsenault; a sister Sr. Lorraine Arsenault of Nashua; nieces, nephews, cousins and many life-long friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday, August 31st from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 31st at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
