Herman M. Pageau of Ray Street passed away in the early morning of January 3, 2011 at the Coos County Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was 85.
Born on October 10, 1925 in Littleton, NH, he was the son of Adelard and Carlene (Pennock) Pageau.
He attended schools in Littleton.
On October 15, 1972 he married Christine L. Treamer.
Herman served in the US Navy during WW II.
He was a longtime car salesman in the Berlin area, first at Berlin Chrysler Plymouth and the Currier Pontiac, retiring in 2006.
His interests included flying, fishing, and hunting. Herman was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his best friend the late Don Roberge and was a member of the Club Joliette Snowshoe club.
He played the guitar and banjo and was also a member of the Berlin Jazz Band.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them how to fish. Herman also enjoyed walks with his dog Hannah. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Christine L. Treamer of Berlin

Several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Friday January 7, 2011 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. A calling hour will be held from 10-11am at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Kieran's Cemetery in Berlin.
