Hilda E. Lacroix

Hilda E. Lacroix, Nanny, 110, formerly on 196 Emery Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Friday December 4, 2009 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin. She was born in Bangor, ME on January 27, 1899 the daughter of Thomas and Marie (Bergeron) Marois. She lived most of her life in Berlin and was educated in Berlin schools. She owned and operated Hildas Flower Shop. Hilda was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, loved playing Bingo and was an avid Red Sox fan. Members of the family include her son Edmond Lacroix and his wife Olive of Berlin, NH; 6 granddaughters Elaine Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA, Louise Lassooy of the Netherlands, Donna Fortier of Berlin, NH, Sharon Gaul of LeMars, IA, Linda Farrell of Hampton, NH and Pamela Nett of Berlin, NH; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Morris, Bert Morris, Edgar Morris and her sisters Rena Lepage and Rosalie Parent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 2:30 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday afternoon from 1 to 2 PM, prior to the service.
