Ida (Frenette) Lapointe

Berlin, NH

Ida Lapointe of Berlin passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 93 years old.

Born in Berlin on June 29, 1924; she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Arsenault) Frenette.

She was employed at the Cascade Towel Room as a packer for Brown Company for 19 years. She retired in 1990. She was a member of the Local 75, a communicant of St. Anne Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Annes.

Ida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her greatest love was her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, reading and entertaining for family gatherings.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband Armand Lapointe; a son Lucien Lapointe; six brothers Lionel, Normand, Gerard, Edmond, Roger and Romeo Frenette.

She leaves behind four children; Louise Connelly and husband Mark of Winchester, MA, Richard Lapointe and wife Lise of Berlin, Helen Piche and husband Joe of Berlin; and Romeo Lapointe and wife Cindy of Berlin; Nine grandchildren, Laurie Burton and husband Jack, Eric Piche and wife Tiffany, Shaun Lapointe and Marissa, Brian Piche, Corey Lapointe and wife Ashley, Patricia Simmer and husband Mike, Ashley Lapointe, Tommy Connelly, and Mathew Connelly; Ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Interment will follow at St. Kieran Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
