Irene (Houle) Aubut

Irene Aubut passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was 94 years old.



Born in Berlin on February 26, 1924, she was daughter of William and Mary Louise (Laroche) Houle. She attended school in Berlin. She married Edward (Ed). Aubut and together they raised five sons and five daughters. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.



She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family; she was a very loving, caring and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She played numerous instruments and had many hobbies; enjoyed playing bingo, going dancing and baking. What she most enjoyed was spending time with family and friends.



Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ed); three children; daughter Lucille Chamberland and two sons, Gerard and Paul Aubut; a grandson Paul Lemiux; three brothers Emile, Wilfred and Archie Houle and a sister Alice Perreault



She is survived by three sons, Robert Aubut and wife Anita of Laconia, NH, Roger Aubut and wife Carol of Laconia, NH and Roland Aubut of Milan; four daughters, Theresa Nadeau and husband Albert of The Villages, FL, Doris Labbe of Wildwood, FL, Jeanne Poussard and husband David of Auburn, ME and Jacqueline Aubut of Berlin she also leaves three brothers, Laurent Houle of Berlin, Henry Houle and wife Pauline of Berlin and Richard and wife Jeannette Houle of Groveton and a sister Laurette Poulin of Berlin; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday, August 21st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, August 22nd from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd at 10:00am at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Berlin, NH
