James R. Tyler

Mr. James (Jim) R. Tyler, 57, of 13 Cambridge St., Berlin, NH passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, surrounded by his family. He was born in Berlin, NH on March 23, 1953 the son of James A. and Emily C. (Germain) Tyler and grew up in Gorham. He has resided in Berlin for the last 28 years. Jim was an US Air Force Veteran. He had been employed by the local paper mill for 27 years and was a member of the Union Local 75. Jim loved to hunt and fish and spend time at camp with his family. Members of the family include his wife of 28 years Louise B. (Cloutier) Tyler of Berlin, NH: a son Matthew J. Tyler of Columbia, SC; his mother Emily Tyler of Berlin, NH; a brother Roger Guilmette of Gorham, NH; sisters Shirley (Guilmette) Gilbert of Gorham, NH and Susan (Tyler) Garinger of Houlton, ME; nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father James A. Tyler. There will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
