Jean Elizabeth Mailloux, 87, of Milan, NH passed away on April 3, 2025 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital after a brief illness.

Jean was born on April 28th, 1937 in Stewartstown, NH, the daughter of the late Moody and Lydia (Parker) Haynes.

Jean was loved by all that had the pleasure to meet her. She was kind, strong, a great cook, and a care giver to all. Before Jean lost her sight, she enjoyed playing cards, dominos and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed spending time at Cedar Pond with all of her friends at the “office”. She also used to knit and crochet as a pastime. In Jean’s younger years she was employed by Converse Shoe, Bass Shoe, and Home Health. She cleaned homes for many people in Milan for many years. She loved to clean and was great at it! Even during her last few days in the hospital all she could talk about was getting home to start washing windows.

Jean is survived by her son Lawrence Mailloux and his wife Karen of Stark, NH, grandson Gino Castonguay and his wife Ann Marie of Berlin, NH, granddaughter Tania Mosher and husband Jamie of Whitefield, NH, grandson Les Mailloux of Merrimack, NH, grandson Joseph Mailloux of Rochester, NH, granddaughter Kimberly Dube and husband Robert of Fryeburg, ME, grandson Thomas Mailloux and wife Becky of Chelsea, ME, granddaughter Heidi Ramirez and husband Larry of Joplin, MO, granddaughter Sammie Mailloux of Neosho, MO and granddaughter Heather Mailloux of Neosho, MO, a sister Dencie Haynes Berry of Stewartstown, NH, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, neices and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Laurier Mailloux, daughter Susan Doble, son Michael Mailloux, son in law Daniel Doble, brother Rodney Haynes and companion Frank Kenney. Jean loved her family very much and was so proud of all of them.

Per Jeans wishes there will be no services.
