Jeannette C. Sanschagrin

Miss Jeannette C. Sanschagrin, 76, of 775 Third Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on June 6, 2005 at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Berlin, NH on Oct. 28, 1928 the daughter of Joseph A. and Marie Anna (Coulombe) Sanschagrin and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Towel Packer in the Cascade Mill for Brown Company, James River Corporation and Crown Vantage Corporation. She retired in 1991 after 41 years of service. Jeannette enjoyed reading, knitting, playing cards and spending time with her nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of St. Anne Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include her sister in law Pauline Sanschagrin of Gorham; 3 nephews Peter Sanschagrin and his wife Theresa of Easton, PA, Robert Sanschagrin and his wife Denise of Berlin and Daniel Sanschagrin of Morgantown, West Virginia; 2 nieces Lucy St.Onge and her fianc Ken Fitzpatrick of Tamworth, NH and Carol Roy and her husband Michael of Berlin; several great nieces and great nephews; and a great great nephew. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Sanschagrin on March 27, 2005. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon June 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Thursday from 10:30 to 12:30, prior to the funeral mass.
