Jeannette O. Gagne

Mrs. Jeannette O. Gagne, 93, of Stark and formerly Berlin, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility in Whitefield after a period of failing health. Jeannette was born in Lewiston, ME on November 6, 1931 the daughter of the late Ernest and Laura (Morin) Labbe. She relocated to Berlin in 1962 where she resided until the last few years of her life. Jeannette was affectionately known as "the fudge lady" and had worked at the Knights of Columbus Hall as a bartender and sold Tupperware for Avon and Stanley. She enjoyed knitting and served as a member of the School Board in Stark for 12 years and was a member of the AVH Auxiliary.

 Jeannette is survived by her daughters Laura Cote of TX and Ola Gagne and her friend Elton Hallock of Gorham; her sons Bill Hannigan and wife Linda of Gorham, Bruce Gagne and wife Claudette of Stark and Dana Gagne and wife Windi of Milan; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leo O. Gagne, her son Harold John Hannigan and two brothers Ernest Labbe and Leo Labbe.

 A Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin with interment following in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Thurs from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
