Dover Jeannette M. Vallee passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Riverside Nursing Home at the age of 78 with family by her side. Jeannette was born and raised in Berlin, where she graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1952. She was the daughter of Patrick and Rose Roche. She married Adrien "Tony" Gagne, together they had twins, Pre deceased by Tony and Patrick, she later married David Vallee of Somersworth. Jeannette worked in the Brown Company Paper Mill in Berlin and in local shoe shops at an early age. She later worked at General Electric in Somersworth. Following retirement, Jeannette worked at Fogarty's Restaurant and Bakery in South Berwick, ME. Jeannette enjoyed reading, baking, collecting cook books, knitting, shopping and taking road trips to Berlin and Montreal. She was generous, and had a special way of caring for others. Jeannette loved to socialize. Her greatest joys were spending time with family and friends. Jeannette enjoyed spending time with "the girls." They continued to call and visit her even after dementia prevented Jeannette from recognizing them. Jeannette could not have asked for more loyal and dedicated friends. Jeannette had other very special friends she loved dearly. Jeannette is survived by her daughter Louise Demers and partner Ed "Jeep" Girouard, her grandson David Demers, her granddaughter Dannielle Linscott and husband Randy and their son Zachery, as well as her brother Louis Roche and wife, Priscilla, her ex son in law Roland Demers. Other survivors include brother in laws, sister in laws and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and held dear to her heart. She is also predeceased by her parents, husband David Vallee and her brothers Raymond and Rene Roche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday March 1, 2013 at St. Martin Church in Somersworth, NH. She will be laid to rest with her husband Tony at St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin, NH near her son Patrick.
