John C. Martin

John C. Martin, 71, of Berlin passed away on Monday August 5, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in New London, NH on January 25, 1942 the son of Harry B. and Loretta (Sordiff) Martin and resided in Berlin for many years. He had been employed at Malden Mills in Massachusetts. He loved being the manager of the building that he resided in, which he managed for Scott Legendre in Berlin. Family includes his brothers Harry Martin of Berlin, NH and George Martin of Mobile, AL; sisters Mary Farrel of Derry, NH, Alice Bonenfant of Springfield, MA, Nancy Martin of Londonderry, NH and Rose Dow of Franklin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Betty Place. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 1 PM at the Russian City Cemetery in Berlin. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
