John H. Keough

John H. Keough, 93, of Berlin passed away at his home on Sunday July 23, 2017. Mr. Keough was born in Berlin, NH on January 3, 1924 a son of William and Mary (Hynes) Keough and was a lifelong resident, graduating from Berlin High School in 1943. John served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Northeast Gas of NH for many years. John was an avid skier and golfer. He was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, VFW Post 2520 and the Androscoggin Valley Country Club.



He is survived by his wife Gloria (Johnson) Keough of Berlin; a son Bruce Keough and wife Jane of Dublin, NH; a daughter Susan Staples and husband Walter of Bryant Pond, ME; 4 grandchildren, John Keough, Ann Faxon, Rebecca Staples and Elizabeth Staples; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers William Keough and Robert Keough and a sister Ruth Chodoski.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10AM at the Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH.
