"Captain" Joseph Levesque of Kent Street passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Androscoggin Valley Hospice in Auburn, ME surround by family.
He is a Marine Corp Veteran during WWI and Kora.
Joseph married Beatrice (Damen) on August 21, 1952 and they spent their time enjoying the outdoors, looking for wildlife.
He was employed by Pike Industries as a truck driver for over twenty years. After retirement he was a well known Gun Smith in Berlin. He was also known as "Mr. Fix It" he could tinker with anything and fix it or he also loved to build things. He was often heard share stories of the time he spent in the service and the time he spent on the road as a truck driver.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Beatrice who passed away in 2003; his brothers and sisters and a granddaughter Harmony Gagne.
He leaves behind two sons; Roger Levesque and his wife Amy of Stark, NH, Robert Levesque and companion Cheri White of Milan, NH; three daughters Bonnie Smith and husband Warren of Green, ME, Sue Godin and husband Dale of Auburn, ME and Nancy Woodward and husband Richard of Berlin, NH; Eight grandchildren Jacob Levesque, Danielle Osgood, Amanda Levesque, Joe Deschesne, Daniel Deschesne, Rick Cash, Lisa Driscoll and Brenda Driscoll; great grandchildren and great-great children. He also leaves behind many close friends throughout the North Country who will miss him dearly.
A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1:00pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the VFW.
